She Leads Project

Omom Elite has been an active and integral implementing partner of the She Leads programme in Kajiado County since its inception in 2021. As a grassroots youth- and girl-led organization, Omom has consistently advanced the programme's goals by mobilizing marginalized Maasai girls and young women (GYW), amplifying their voices, and ensuring their meaningful participation in decision-making processes. Through community-driven advocacy, intergenerational mentorship, and transformative engagements, Omom has empowered GYW to challenge harmful gender norms and influence institutional change at both local and regional levels.
